The short version: We collect only what we need to run TLKSource. We never sell your personal data or individual cost inputs. Anonymised, aggregated calculation data may be used for benchmarking — this is never linked back to you personally.
TLKSource is operated by TLK Intelligence Pty Ltd (ABN 16 525 180 164), registered in New South Wales, Australia. We are bound by the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
Account information is used to authenticate you, maintain your token balance, and deliver calculation results.
Anonymised, aggregated calculation data — for example, average costs on a particular lane — may be used to develop benchmarking products. This data is stripped of all personal identifiers before any use and cannot be traced back to you, your business, or your specific calculations. We will never share data that could identify individual operators.
We send transactional emails only (account confirmation, receipts, password resets). You can opt out of any non-transactional communications.
Your data is stored in Cloudflare's D1 database infrastructure with Cloudflare's ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II compliance. We use HTTPS/TLS, hashed passwords, JWT authentication, and rate limiting.
We retain account information and calculation history while your account is active. On account closure we delete personal information within 30 days except where retention is required by law. Anonymised aggregate data may be retained indefinitely for benchmarking.
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. Contact us at privacy@tlksource.com.au. We respond within 30 days.
Complaints may be lodged with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.
