The short version: TLKSource provides benchmark-based freight cost estimates using publicly available data. Calculations are indicative only — not a guarantee of actual costs. You are responsible for validating results against your own business circumstances before quoting jobs or making commercial decisions.
By accessing or using TLKSource at tlksource.com.au you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and TLK Intelligence Pty Ltd (ABN 16 525 180 164).
TLKSource is a freight cost intelligence platform that generates benchmark-based estimates using Victorian Owner Drivers Act published operating cost schedules, AIP terminal gate diesel prices, Fair Work Commission award wage rates, published toll operator rates, and open-source mapping data.
IMPORTANT: TLKSource calculations are benchmark-based indicative estimates only. They are not a guarantee, warranty, or representation of the actual cost of any freight job. Victorian benchmark schedules describe typical costs and may not reflect your specific vehicle, financing, insurance, or operational circumstances. Validate calculations against your own cost structure before quoting.
TLKSource does not provide financial, legal, accounting, or professional transport consulting services. Nothing on the platform constitutes professional advice of any kind. Obtain independent professional advice before making significant commercial decisions based on freight cost estimates.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You must be at least 18 years old with legal capacity to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
Tokens are purchased in advance at one token per calculation. Tokens are valid for 12 months from purchase date. Tokens have no cash value and cannot be refunded, transferred, or exchanged.
Annual packs are billed annually in advance. Included calculations expire at year end. Overage calculations are charged at the published overage rate. Annual packs are non-refundable except as required by Australian Consumer Law.
New accounts receive 3 free calculations on signup with no cash value and no transferability.
You agree not to attempt to circumvent authentication or rate limiting, scrape or systematically extract data from the platform, reverse engineer the platform, use automated tools beyond normal business use, or share access as a standalone product without written permission.
TLKSource, its calculation methodology, software, and brand are the intellectual property of TLK Intelligence Pty Ltd. You retain ownership of data you input. By using the platform you grant us a non-exclusive licence to process your inputs to deliver the service and use anonymised aggregated outputs for benchmarking as described in our Privacy Policy.
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, TLK Intelligence Pty Ltd is not liable for any loss of profit, revenue, or business arising from use of or reliance on TLKSource calculations, or any indirect, consequential, or special damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes any right or guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where the ACL applies, our liability is limited to resupply of the service or refund of the amount paid, at our discretion.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of NSW courts.
